| ORDER PROCESSOR
Reports to: Order Processing Manager
Primary Function
Under the general supervision of the Order Processing Manager coordinates various door, frame and hardware schedules supplied by customers into production orders. Becomes proficient in all duties required and collaborates with the other Order Processing personnel to maximize efficiency and minimize work backlog.
Essential Functions
1. Accurately record or document information including:
a. Incoming orders on order entry sheet by sales territory
b. Process orders for scheduling
c. Conversations with customers, suppliers, architects, etc. to ensure accuracy
2. Process or enter data using the appropriate method including:
a. Input to Logia program for coordinated, uncoordinated, preliminary parts, frame only orders, and order changes.
b. Provide mortise, machining, and detail departments with all template drawings, sketches, etc. needed to process the order.
c. Prepare purchase orders for purchasing department.
3. Communicate or coordinate information including:
a. Internal communications with other departments, coworkers, and managers.
b. Work with customers, architects and architectual hardware consultants fo questions, changes, follow-up, technical information, design help, complaint resolution, etc.
c. Keeping abreast of updates on new UL and WHI labeling and manufacturing procedures.
4. Insure the accuracy and quality of work flow by:
a. Verifying pricing accuracy (Logia figures vs. quotation)
b. Verifying accuracy of orders written by coworkers.
c. Reviewing returned acknowledgments for changes or updates
Requirements:
Education - High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience - Data Entry/ keyboarding
Skills Good verbal communication, strong math, very organized, analytical, computer
proficiency.
